Oahu was an amazing place, but I could not stop thinking about Pearl Harbor. So I toured it.
It is a very quite place, it is a place where immaturity does not exist, only respect.
In the U.S.S. Arizona lie 1,700 dead bodies, and you can look at it from the memorial. In the memorial, every person that was killed in the attack, had their name engraved on the wall.
I then toured the U.S.S. Missouri, the ship where WWII officially ended. It was amazing to see the size of the weapons, the power that came with that ship.
Walking to the spot on the ship where the leaders signed the papers was amazing, just to be sitting right there, at the spot where a war that killed more than 50 million people ( that was the estimate that was shown on the ship )was ended.
I give all my respect to those fighting for our freedom.
Thank You.
