We know what they want, but it's not our problem if they don't get it. Is it against the law not to purchase something after seeing an advert for it on TV? Is it against the law to cancel auto-renewal on Netflix after the first free month? You need to think more.

I think that's why you change your locale to Canada. It gives you the ad if you do that, no matter where you're from.
