-LizardLick wrotehazza81 wrotehazza81 wrote I'm a Chelsea supported but man -LizardLick you have really just made Chelsea sound like a load of ****.
The points you are trying to prove are really bad, I'm 14 and I admit Chelsea are like Manchester City beginning to pay for the league.
If you actually read you would of been able to tell.
Sorry I just read your profile it said 1993, so you started supporting Chelsea from 07-09?
Have you ever been to the bridge mate?
I was disagreeing the fact we bought the league, RA has spent billions now but I was arguing the fact who's now better Chelsea or Arsenal?
Chelsea are better than Arsenal - at the moment. But, Chelsea's youth development is terrible, so I don't expect them to be better in a few years time.

-LizardLick wroteStarks wrote-LizardLick wrote That is an extremely impressive stat, i can even remember Henry's goal a the Bernabau, however I hardly see it being more historic then holding the Champions league and the Europe league at the same time like you said it was
Holding the Champions League is impressive (all be it, you won it in the worst fashion possible), I didn't deny that. Winning the Europa League however, isn't. That's what I said wasn't historic. A Champions League winning team, proud of winning the Europa League. You talk about Arsenal fans being proud of underachieving...
I would much rather win the champions league, but if Arsenal got put in Europa would you want them to get knocked out or go all the way and put it behind them? I don't ever wanna go back into the tournament, we didn't even deserve to beat Benfica lmao we' got out played
Of course I'd want them to win it... But that doesn't mean I'd be proud of them winning it (like Chelsea fans are). If we won it, I'd question why we're not in the Champions League.

Wow our youth development? I agree it never used to be but we have so many players coming through now, hopefully we will give them a chance like Lukaku, De Bruyne etc
Suppose it's just nice to add that extra bit of silverware to the trophy cabinet

You bought all of your decent young players... that's what I'm saying. Buying youth isn't the same as being self-sustaining. The youth development I'm talking about is players coming through the ranks at your club, not buying youth.

Yeah you are right there but that's what most teams do now, we have the odd 5 players coming through that are home grown but we buy the rest like you said but Arsenal, Utd etc all do the same

Hardly.. most of our top players have come through the ranks. Some we've bought obviously.
Anyway, I'm ending this debate here. It's hard to fill a cup that believes it's full.

If you think that was a good debate, you haven't been in any decent debates. You were schooled, son. (;
