Well, I have had this problem all the time, and if you have an imac you will know what I mean. I can install ANY operating system through bootcamp proving it is 32 bit.If I try and install; 64 bit, then upon boot up, I get select drive 1 - 2, make you choice, this even happens when I try windows 8, so

One of the drives is for MAC OS X and the other is for Windows 8

Yes, but think how slow it will start up without USB3.0
