As the title states. Why do some players sell for ridiculous amounts? I'm talking about when a card is posted for 150 start price. Like a TOTS for example. Is it just cause people want to blow off 200k more for fun, or what is it?
Update: This post is kind of misleading, in example, if a players price is around 200k someone bids up to 400k.

Because a TOTS card is rare and also really good stats. Even though I personally believe the handicap rule, they perform above average.

Ah, sorry man. My post was misleading, I meant like why do people bid even higher on card that isn't worth what they are bidding. Example: I was trying to bid on a TOTS Lamela right now, and a guy bumped him up +200k. So Lamela ended up selling for 435k. I've seen this on a lot of TOTS players as well.
