Instead of setting up my retail and RGH up to do system link is it possible to just recover the account on to my RGH then unlock all that way?

You can't connect to LIVE on the RGH so how can you get anything to stick on their servers?

You need a retail console.

Not unless your RGH is online, and it would be really costly to get it online. So system linking is the smartest way to do it

Yes you need to be connected with retail, cant connect on the rgh console
