I am having this as well. It is becoming a pain for me and my service.

I just managed to get on the game after 12 MINUTES of searching.

yah in the start i deleted the compatablility pack and re downloaded it it workes fine now

To fix this. Unplug your ethernet cord. The game should say online disconnected. The game will go to the title screen. Continue game, once you're playing plug the cord back in and connect to XBOX Live. That's how I fixed it.

man this sux..I thought is was jus my xbox...but they say xbox live is trying too put live and xbox one so people on differnet consoles can still communicate..so that is prolly what is slowing all gaming down today!!

they wont be doing that for a long time and its happening on PC aswell

Just get rid of ur connection, then go in offline and reconnect to ur wifi or cord.
