So i have found a Iphone in the streets and no one was around, so i decided that i should just take it. My question is that what happens if i Restore it from my itunes? would my address be tracked or will i be alright and be able to keep the iphone for my self? also it is connected to sprint at the moment but perhaps i could change it right?

I don't think you would be tracked, but I'm not positive. Which iPhone is it? I turned off "find my iphone" on my iphone 5 so maybe you could do that also

dont take it to a cellular company first off because they will tell you that the phone was reported stolen so what i would do is restore it without plugging it in the computer then just turn off the 3g.

Do exactly what this guy said and sprint cant be changed since it doesn't have a sim card but its still good for listening to music and apps and stuff

After restoring, see if you can unlock the phone. Then you can use it on your carrier

To unlock means you could use it on any carrier. I probably wouldn't try to use it on the same one though
