I really don't believe there's life after death. That's not me disregarding an 'afterlife' existing, it's me saying I don't believe one exists.

I don't know where you read that article, but it sounds like a bunch of BS to me. When you die, you're dead. How would someone know what happens after you die? It doesn't really make since to me.

Trying to explain what happens after you die at a simply basic level of saying 'You live on' or 'You're gone' is completely assumption.
So how would someone be able to go into this much detail about it and still have credibility?

Personally, if there's an afterlife, I don't see the point in life.
It makes everything pointless and why would we be allowed to grieve so much over someone who has just passed when they are alive and well for the rest of eternity.
Innately I think we all know that dead is dead, we just don't like to accept it.

Like I said though, it's all assumption.

I read this thing on a website a while ago and it said your brain is still active for 10 min after you die. And it replays your whole life over again, then at the end it was like what if your already dead and just replaying your memory's right now idk it was interesting.
