As for Abrahan Lincoln, he only liberated slaves from states that seceded from the Union (i.e. not all of them) and he didn't believe blacks should have the same rights as whites! Talk about racist.

Some justice is better than no justice at all.
Lincoln pushed the 13th Amendment through wholeheartedly, without that it could have been years before slavery was completely abolished.
