I did use "https://www.google.com"and I used the exact link you have sent me too and got 7.25 of java which does not work so yeah:)

There is a test page that Oracle has on its Java website to test the install, I will link it below. It will tell you if it's installed properly and also has some troubleshooting steps.

Go to your Java Control Panel and make sure "Enable Java content in browser" is checked.

While you're at it, you may be better-off ditching Safari.

How do I check that Java is Enabled?
