No unless you have auto renewal enabled it won't take anymore monthly payments from you.

You will have to do this on Xbox.com , go to billing and membership it should be in their you can turn it off

It should ask you, if not go to billing information and remove credit card details
Or just take off the renewal on [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

yeah after you turn off auto renewal at the end of the month click on that link again and you can get it free again

You can either take off auto renewal from your Xbox Live account directly or cancel the subscription through paypal. I highly recommend doing it through paypal as i have had some problems with the first method before
