I think I noticed a slight error. The motherboard you chose only has 4 RAM slots whereas you have ordered 8 sticks of RAM.

He doesn't need a Titan. Like r00t said there are very few games that actually benefit from a higher end card. A 770 is all he needs.

BringTheFame wroteIMAGINENATIVE wroteDo you do CGI, concept design, or 3D work as well? Our Studio computer has 64gb ram and still struggles.BringTheFame wroteSyphox wrote Sorry buy I'm laughing too hard.. Why do you need 64Gb of ram?I'm going into my second year, studying CGI/concept design, 3D programs such as 3ds Max, zBrush, game engines, and even blender can use up over 64gb of ram when in use. Also matte work and CGI work in Adobe After effects can require well over 64gb of ram. The computer I use now in our studio has 64gb ram and still can have a hard time running adobe products smoothly, I also enjoy pc gaming too, which is why I want something which can run everything I need without struggle. Thanks for the concern!
I have 8gb of ram and i run all adobe programs just fine ! most id have is 16 , 64gb is a waste imo
I do concept designs and 3d work but im not sure what cgi is do you not mean ui ?

LGA 2011 and Sandy Bridge-E are current-gen. Ivy Bridge-E will use the same socket and has yet to be released. The 3820 is a better option than "next-generation" Haswell CPU because it has quad-channel memory and 40 PCIe 3.0 lanes compared to 1150's dual-channel and 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes. If OP can take advantage of so much RAM, by all means, he should have it.

I was making an assumption. I'm not sure that the 770 would be a more sensible choice, but it likely is, so it's worth pointing out.

The board he posted has eight slots.
