Zack Snyder has officially announced Batman/Superman, stating that it will take inspiration - but not be based on - Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. A press release also confirms that Warner Bros. are looking for a new Batman and which Man of Steel cast members are returning
"Zack Snyder arrived at Warner Bros.' Hall H panel to a hugely positive reaction from fans, immediately telling them that he was there to confirm a Man of Steel sequel. After teasing fans by saying that there was only one thing he could reveal about follow-up, he brought Henry Lennox out to read something pertaining to the movie. "I want you to remember Clark in all the years to come. In all your private moments. In all the years to come, my hand at your throat. I want you to remember, the one man who beat you." That's right, it's a quote from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns! Snyder would then go on to confirm Superman/Batman, adding that the classic story will inform the movie. Below is the press release in full."

My questions are....How are they're going to meet? Who initiate first contact? Are they gonna have some kind of conflict at first? like some superheroes when they first meet and start throwing punches. I know, a human wouldn't be able to handle the superpunch. I can see it going like this..."Hi there, they call me "The Batman" and "My name is Kal-El and I know who you really are".

I think i heard that they are both going to have a fight, but i also have the same question as you, how can Batman even withstand a punch from superman unless he has kryptonite with him.. which i highly doubt?

Mixing a great hero with a crappy hero, bad idea... Just ruins the name of the good hero!
