Synopsis (Wikipedia)

Resident Evil 6, known as 'Biohazard 6' (6 Baiohazdo Shikkusu?) in Japan, is an action-adventure third-person shooter video game and the ninth main installment in the Resident Evil series, developed and published by Capcom. Capcom defines the game's genre as "dramatic horror", however there is disagreement among reviewers whether this installment belongs in survival horror genre. It was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 2, 2012. The Microsoft Windows version was released on March 22, 2013.
The story is told from the perspectives of Chris Redfield, a former member and founder of the BSAA traumatized by a failed operation, Leon S. Kennedy, a Raccoon City survivor and agent for the U.S. government, Jake Muller, illegitimate son of Albert Wesker and associate of Sherry Birkin, and Ada Wong, a freelance agent framed for the bio-terrorist attacks by Neo-Umbrella. They must all confront the force behind a massive bio-terrorist attack with the newly developed C-virus in cities across the world.
Concept development began as far back as 2009, with full development beginning the following year under Hiroyuki Kobayashi, who produced Resident Evil 4, and eventually grew to have the largest staff so far to work on a Resident Evil game. The game faced both negative reactions to the control problems with the demo and generally mixed reviews for the drastic shift in gameplay focus for the main game, being a point of both praise and criticism for different review outlets.

Campaign

There are a few campaign story lines to choose from, for this purpose I'll just be talking about the experiences I had with Leon who I see as the main character. So the beginning of the game gives you a nice feeling of what's to come with the game because it gives you a nice dramatic scene where there is a helicopter trying to shoot you and a little while later there are a ton of zombies who are trying to kill you so not that bad for an opening scene. You have a fine list of objectives really, finding things, killing off zombies, pretty average. So I'd say it's just fine.
Throughout the game there is a lot of dialogue which I felt was not so bad, they did a fine job with that, which is what they usually do. So far, I've been enjoying the Campaign, just with the Leon Campaign, maybe Helena too (I will say though, haven't played as much as I need to get a good review off of it). The others I didn't really feel it was that necessary. You can get an extra Campaign if you beat the first three or something like that which I don't really want to do judging on Chris's story line so far. I guess it could add a little bit more character development though so if you're wanting to see more about the characters or just want to play some more then you should enjoy the extra campaigns.
A thing I hated were the quick time moments, for example, at the beginning of the game there is this Train station you come across by and a Train comes through, you have to first hurry up from all the zombies, then you have to guess which side the Train ISN'T going to come on or else it'll splatter you. Even if you aren't in its way it'll still splatter you if it sees you, from anywhere! Overall though, you should check out Leons Campaign first, since I felt it was the best.

Graphics

I thought the graphics looked amazing, I didn't think Capcom would be able to pull off such nice graphics. They went into great detail on almost everything and you can easily notice this right as you start playing the game for the first time. For the Zombies they didn't make them all look like each other either and all washed up which is great since I see that in other Zonbie-related games and I just don't like it. Hats off to Capcom for the great graphics!

Controls

The controls are pretty standard for a Resident Evil, not much has changed (which is a good thing). I got into everything pretty well and I hadn't played a Resident Evil since 5 (never got to Raccoon City) so I liked that. At the beginning scene of the Leon Campaign (since I'm assuming that's what you'll play first) you get a good taste of the controls and how to maneuver them. By that time you should be able to handle a lot of them fairly quickly. This really isn't a control related thing but sometimes the Camera angles can get a little weird, the game will set you to look at a certain place, even if you don't want to look there, and you're in the middle of accomplishing something, can get annoying after a while.

Rating

7.7/10

Ultimately, this is a great game. You should check it out if you're a fan of action-packed zombie games!

I've only seen theRadBrad play it, I watched quite a lot actually, proper good zombie game. The zombies were different from other games but it looked really awesome. From my perspective, the game has some top notch graphics, and overall I'd give it 8/10. Nice review man, I'll be watching you make more *ahippya*

They killed it after 3. But I bought RE ORC today, if you're a zombies fan don't bother with RS ORC.

Wasn't too thrilled with this game. They went downhill after ORC. RE4 and 5 were amazing games.

This is the worst game in the series. Capcom tried to make their own gearsofwar with zombies and failed. It is a stupid and boring action. They lost the main features of RE like slow horror gameplay, weapon upgrades, economy of ammo and first aid kits. The main characters are like superheroes rushing through the crowds of enemies without any resistance, bosses - a pathetic parody of the RE4 bosses. Furthermore they make 3 short storylines, instead of 1 big, it is better to make one huge story like Blizzard made one high quality campaign for Terran in SC2 and put the rest sides of the conflict in addons instead of three low-medium quality campaign.
