Alright so I received my new jtag and have begun setting it up this morning to my liking. Everything has been going great until I decided to put bo2 on it using FSD dvd extract. It begins the extraction fine until it gets to 5% then I hear the drive make a gear noise or something like that and the installation bar fills up and the installation halts... I have no idea what's wrong I honestly think its my disc drive? I was never told by the seller it would be broken but their were other things I was deceived about. So idk. The dvd drive tends to stick sometimes during opening/closing. If anyone has an idea or has seen this before and can help me out I'd appreciate it.

What happens is most dvd drives when flashed the laser is week. I usually replace all my lasers when i flash a drive so no customers have a issue.
the grinding noise your hearing is the laser trying to read the disk and its jumping back and forth trying to read the disk. I would make sure that the disk is clean of any dirt also if you have the console opened which since you bought off a seller , its possible you could clean the laser. or buy a dvd cleaning disk
