Okay dokey, so since getting my Tahiti LE card it hasn't gotten on with my old Sony LCD TV. Every so often under load or idle the display will disconnect and reconnect with all the colours changed to red and green. Now i've tried a Nvidia GTX550Ti & GTX660 on the same display in the same rig and they are totally perfect. Already RMA'ed the card for a new one, so i'm thinking its something about AMD it doesn't like.
TL DR: So i'm looking for a 1080p monitor for around 100gbp. I'm okay with monitors but you guys are probably better than me

Ever heard of a TV and GPU not getting along? Its not like any standards have changed.

try and get a monitor that is 144hz. Makes your mouse and frames feel smoother.

That will cost about three times more than what he wants to pay. 144 Hz monitors are nice if you do a lot of gaming and have a very high-end PC, but even then I'd get an S-IPS, 2560x1440, 27" monitors like the X-Star DP2710.
