I currently just bought a new SSD and need help making it my boot Drive
The only thing I need help with is when I install windows 7 on my SSD will I need to remove Windows 7 on the hard drive im currently using. And if I do need to remove it how will I remove it.
Edit:I need help choosing which sata port to plug my ssd in to if you could tell me please do. here is a picture of my sata ports

you don't need to but its highly recommended and its pointless keeping it anyway but to remove it you simply put in your OS disk go through the setup until it asks you where to install it and then you click your HDD and click format and then click your SSD and click install, and you're done

I'd recommend just using it as a cache drive, meaning any files you use often will go to the SSD for faster loading times, reinstalling is a pain and unnecessary.

You should always plug in boot drives into the ports with the name ending in 0 or 1. Things like your optical drive won't need the bandwidth, so if there isn't enough space, you should move it to a different port. If you notice, your board says "SATA_6G 0" and "SATA_6G 1" the "6g" means it is a 6 gig of bandwidth port. Plug in your SSD into either the "SATA_6G 0" or the "SATA_6G 1".
