Recently I built my custom PC and got free RAM with some of my purchases, currently I use this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] in my PC , but I also have this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] leftover from the build. I know they have different voltages, timing, and latencys. I'm don't have the best RAM knowledge, but what would be the best option for me to do with this RAM. Stay with what I have know or what? Thanks for all help supplied.

may aswell just sell it. you cant use it in you system because it would cause to be unstable.

Where would be the best place to sell it at?

If you think you'd make use of the lower profile memory when using a processor cooler in the future it might be a good idea to keep them.

If you wanted to try them in your system alongside the other ones, you could try it. Make sure you manually configure the timings and voltages to max though.

The RAM you got with the build is better than your current RAM, latency is lower nice heatsink and reliable unlike the pair you have now.
Most of the rating are only 1 star and it's for it simply not working. I'd say test that it's working, if so, sell it.

Ditch the RAM you have in the build currently and put in the 4x2 GB ballisticX sticks. They are great overclockers and have a low voltage which is always good.
