I have a funny feeling you don't know the difference between the 3570 and the 3570k.

And that Beacon build someone listed, screw the 2500, get a 3570.

I'm in the habit of going with this cpu with intel builds.

Again, stop offering old generation hardware for someone who wants a new PC especially when it's the same price for the latest CPU's. There is just no sense in it.

CPU Cooler- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
CPU- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Total: $1009.78

I gave separate links to the CPU Cooler and CPU because pcpartpicker.com was offering links to sites I'm not familiar with, therefore wouldn't trust.
If you're not a pirate ditch the CPU cooler and buy Windows 7 64 Bit instead. Good luck with the build.

You can get an amazing computer for 1k dude, the best thing to do is to build your own. Also you can find ways to get operating systems, so you don't have to pay like $200
