Well back to back penta's is something rare but yes he does need a nerf. Now you can have the perks of AD and AP Yi while only building AD.

i really like him and i don't think he needs a nerf but that's what's coming up in the next patch.

Dude that patch is out, we're talking about the reworked Master Yi, hes just too strong its ridiculous

Thanks for the info, haven't been on for a while.

He honestly doesn't need a nerf. Due to his new toolkit and ad ratios, he will stomp bronze and they will probably nerf him until he is unplayable. Here are ways you can counter Master Yi:
1. CC can easily destroy him. Preferably non-skill shot CC's as Yi can easily dodge with his Alpha Strike and Highlander.
2. Build Frozenheart, Thornmail, etc...
3. Don't let him snowball in the first place, if Yi is laning, get your jungler to camp that lane.
4. Don't attempt to trade with him when he uses his E, common sense, unless you can burst him down. Ever laned top against an Irelia? You don't stand there and melee her when she has her W up.
5. Ban him. Dislike him? Don't even want to deal with him? Just ban him, profit.

You had 14 deaths with him so lots of people can kill you, so I would say no.

No, They nerfed his meditate and his alpha strike hits less targets now to compensate for it critting etc.
His ult doesnt completely reset but just keeps going for longer upon kills, so that is a direct nerf, he is better in jungle now then in mid which is where should've been played in the first place anyway.

Without a doubt the new Master yi is better than the old one for clean ups. The alpha changes made are way better imo, it scales on AD, can crit and late game it has a decent base c/d but with your passive and massive AS you can Alpha pretty much every 6 seconds, and with crits on alpha and the fact that it scales on AD , with a LW you can still nuke as if you were playing AP yi. + It fits even better now with his Wuju style

But for splitpushes and clearing out objectives his highlander + wuju style isnt as good anymore, but imo the new master yi is waaay better.

There are pros and cons of it. But it has to be said that Yi isn't as good early game anymore and it all depends on how you do early on.
