I know that the Family Plan has disappeared from the xbox live gold options, but that's not to say it won't come back or that you can't purchase an existing family account from someone. After all, xbox has not really said anything about it disappearing so I would think they will be bringing it back at some point. The way around bans is pretty simple I think. You still have to start over, but you don't have to wait for the ban to get lifted and you won't lose your xbox live gold time. OK, what I do is this, I have a family account which gives you 4 accounts with one year of live on each. You can make new accounts or use accounts that you already have. I would not use accounts that are already banned though as it won't lift an existing ban. The key is that whichever account you use as the "parent" account, the one that you purchase the family plan with, DON'T MOD, HACK, BOOST ETC... WITH THE PARENT ACCOUNT. Now, with the other three accounts, you can do anything you want. If they get banned, just sign into the parent account and kick the banned account from the family plan and add a new one. The ban will be gone now because it's not the same account and because of the family plan your xbox live gold time transfers from your old banned account to the new one because the time is attributed to the family plan, not the individual accounts. The best part is that for every month of gold that the parent account already has on it when you purchase the family plan takes $5 off the price of the family plan. So, if you have 6 months of gold left you would only pay $70 instead of $100 and you also get added months for every month already on each of the accounts that you add. The added months apply across the board to all 4 accounts. To give a clear example, When I bought my family pack I had about 9 months on the parent account and about a total of 10 months on the other three accounts that I added combined. In the end I had 4 accounts with just over 2 years of xbox live gold on EACH account and it only cost me $55 total, that's less than a regular one year account. So if you look at the numbers, I got 8 years of gold for $55 and three of my accounts are interchangeable. I can do anything I want because if I get banned, I just kick the account and add a new one and I'm back online in 5 min. and I get to keep my gold. Yes, I do have to start over, but what do I care, I probably "stole" whatever stats or gold guns or whatever I had anyway, it did get banned for a reason, so it is of no real value to me. I use my parent account for legit play. This way, I have the best of both worlds, I have my legit account with my actual stats and whatnot and I have three other accounts that I can do whatever with and have no worries about messing up my real account. You can even sell 2 of the account slots to friends for half of what they would normally pay for a year and then they will most likely get more than a year for half price and you get a huge chunk taken off of the total price. After all, you really only need 2 accounts, your legit account and your hacking/interchangeable account. So, that's how I've been getting around bans for the last couple of years and I hope this has been of help to you.
