I'm starting my next build soon, I'm using it mainly for illustration and graphic design(2d and 3d), some light video editing, and casual gaming. I would like it to be somewhat silent, and I plan on overclocking and running 2 monitors.

I know I want it built around the i7-4770k, because I'm actually going to utilize the hyper threading, everything else is up to you guys. Thanks in advance

I included a 2TB HDD as you said you would be video editing, but you can change that to what ever size you think you will need.

Hope this suites your needs.

Seems good but go for a 600w PSU and an Aftermarket cooler.

This is a good cooler;

The 550 will cover it, i know the estimators aren't totally accurate on these sites, but it wouldn't be a whole 100 Watts out.

Also there is a aftermarket cooler on it, the Hyper 212 EVO.

My bad I didn't see that.

Although 550w might cover it, with overclocking and the extra drives etc safer is better.

I Would change the 8gb to 16 for what you do and yeah that's all good.

To be honest using more than 8GB is quite unlikely, and even if he did 16GB would never be used.

Yeah im just thinking for like what he does? Like 2D 3D editing some programs can eat up quite a bit of the ram.

Sure it can eat it up but it won't use a lot more than 8GB and with an i7 it should be fine, 16GB would never be used really and going that high is a waste.

650 is definitely enough.
