I've been thinking recently about the sprint to dive function. And I think it is a great addition to the game, however I am beginning to think that it will create a new type of player, The Drop Knifer.
Now hear me out...
We all know that marathon and lightweight are back. I think that when these two perks are combined together, it will allow a player to sprint right up to other players, dive, knife the enemy's feet, and then be awarded a kill.
This isn't so much of as a complaint as it is a discussion over a new tacit. We all know that a drop shot can get you out of a near death situation alive, maybe the drop knife might do the same in the future.

The only thing i was wondering about was recovery, either way. A drop shot confuses the person long enough to make them miss. I wonder what diving to someones feet would do to disorient them?
Either way, this is something I will be watching out for.

Maybe the knifing could be like CoD4 and be hard as hell to kill someone with.
Lol.

This is not going to work out as you think. When you dive you can't knife or anything else. It also takes a second or so to recalibrate once your up.

Well they took out commando, so it will be harder to knife than in MW2.

Is everyone on this thread retarded? If the person isn't literally mentally handicapped they can back up 2 feet, if someone "drop knifed" you would you seriously stand there and take it? Lets think things through people.
