Processor: Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200
Memory: 4GB
HDD: 320GB
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 260

What PSU do I need? I know I need 500W at least, but idk what brand or the pins, lol everything confuses me. Looking to spend like $20-$40 on one. Thanks, +REP

It can prove hard to get a good one at that price.

a 500 watt should do just fine.

im using a 430 watt with 8gigs of ram a ge force gtx 660 and a intel core i5 3470, and it works great. so yeah a 500 watt will do you just fine

I know what Watts, but idk a specific PSU I should get? Could you link me to one?

you only need like 300 watts....

consult the specifications of the PSU and your hardware to make sure this has the right connectors, or that you have them.

Edit: as in look at the connectors on your graphics card and motherboard, and make sure they are the same as the connectors that are on the PSU.

If you have faith in OCZ's rebate, this is a great unit for a good price. Around $34 after the rebate and code.

If not, the CX500 is an OK-at-best option.

My money would be on a better unit that I could use for future builds and upgrades with no worries. I would worry about any CX-series unit other than the CX430 or possibly the CX750.

One thing to learn is, never skimp on the PSU, it is the most important part of a PC.

Power supplies are guilty until proven innocent, and since I can't find a good review for that power supply, I suggest avoiding it. Paying a little extra for a decent PSU is very, very important.

I stand by the XFX, they give a 5 year warranty!
