Hey TTG, i have a virus like thing on my other PC it is like anti virus that runs automatically and doesn't allow me to delete it. Or stop it, It constantly saying that i have virus but i know i do not as i have avast now. I'm pretty sure it is a scamming website that make fake virus so the you buy the "anti virus". If anyone knows an easy way to fix/remove this from my computer you will receive as much rep+ as i can gibe over the next week!

Thanks in advance for the help!

restore your computer back to an earlier date when you did not have it, if that does not work, search for the .exe files from the date that the virus showed up on your computer, it auto extracts, it is a .exe file trust me i had the exact same problem good luck....

In the following order - download, update and run
1/ Spybot S&D ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

2/ Malwarebytes - ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

3/ Microsoft Security Essentials (Google MSE and please only
download anti malware from the legit home sites.

If you go the route of cleaning the exe files - do remember to untick your system restore. These little b&ggers knit themselves into the registry and come back to life when you restart.

One other programme to install is spyware doctor (have it ^on demand^), in other words don't have two anti virus programmes running at the same time.

PM me if you still have a proble

Yeah just do a system recovery from a couple of days ago.

1- Startup
2- search System Restore
3- Follow prompts to choose your restore destination
4- CPU will restart @ designated time
5- re-dowlnoad anything you may have lost.
