So to start off with this rant I want to make it clear to all of you that Xbox 360 WORLDS are not SERVERS stop allowing yourselves to conclude to think that it is a Xbox 360 world that you can play on with a max of 8 players!

Also, Servers consist of MORE than 8 players and have plugins, spawnpoint, RAM, and in most cases 24/7 access to the server! Im just sick of people acting like they own a server, just BUY Minecraft on the PC and stop this bullshit!

I agree. I get's on my nerves when people act like it's a PC server but there isn't much else we can call it.

It seems okay if you just want people to play on your map but it's not practical whatsoever to play anything much else but survival. You can't control your players like you can on an actual PC server. You can't mute them, you can't jail them, you can't punish them, you can't limit what they do. It's either hope they'll follow the 'rules' or you're screwed. That's why PC minecraft is superior. It has so much more you can do on it that the possibilities are endless.

I actually agree with you, Xbox is not expected to be the minecraft capital.

Honestly, what else can people call it? It sound a little more professional when you say, 'server' instead of, 'world'

1. Who cares if people call it a server?
2. Most people who play Minecraft on xbox watch videos of people playing it on PC, and when they hear a commentator talk about worlds the commentator calls them servers so its natural that that would translate to the xbox minecraft community.
3. Technically they are servers because, without out a server tp provide the online connection there would be no multiplayer.
4. Not all servers consist of 8 or more players and plugins.
5. Xbox minecraft does have spawnpoints and the console has ram (technically the server providing the connection has ram too).
6. Not everyone's computer can run minecraft believe it or not. Mine cant. Also most families share computers, so in that case a person would not always have access to minecraft on the PC.
