I find it hard to believe really. The most littlest PSU I've seen in a build is 500w.

The graphics card in my build has an HDMI port where you can connect your PC to the monitor. You wouldn't plug the monitor into the motherboard.

At 1080p, HDMI is fine and it also transfers audio unlike DVI. DVI is only needed at higher resolutions.

Go with this build OP, its the best looking one here so far.

That would be the best one so far if it had an OS. As it stands it cost about 70 over budget.

If they don't specify, just assume they need one.
