I thought i heard my spidey sense tingling. I chose the XFX Tahiti LE over the PCS+ because i own one and it has a better cooler than the PCS+ version.
may i recommend a change in mobo to an asrock 990fx extreme 3 its the same price but you get the 990 fx chipset
also change the gfx card to 7850 as the 7870 is the oc version and upgrade the cpu to a 8320.

No. The 7870 *LE* that he used is nearly as good as a 7950. 7950 vs 7850? You know the answer.
The FX-6300 allows him to afford a better graphics card and it is still a very capable GPU.

Also there isn't any point spending more to a 990FX unless OP will use the features.
