Nothing really. We'll likely have restrictions in effect but that's to keep stuff from going bad. The US has a reserve. We'll be fine. Everyone else, not so much. We have plenty of new tech in development that creates new methods to stand in for oil. I don't see anything bad happening if we do run out of oil besides the government creating new laws.

Yeah.... I live in West Texas. We have at least 75 more years of oil minimum.

In the 70's a group of boffins built and engine that ran on nothing other than water ,This rights for this design was bought and paid for by one of the car giants (Never to be seen again ,well not until there is no more money left in oil) !.

when it comes to transportation there will always be an answer but we will have other problems in areas like textiles and plastics ,Both these industries heavily rely on oil for production.
There are about 19 different plants that can be grown to produce oil but the problem with growing oil is the amount of space it takes to do so ..,Given the choice what would you choose ??? oil or food ?.

I read a book in school called Empty and it was about how the world ran out of Oil and they went to war with another country (Forget the name of the country). So idk what will happen. We will most likely go to war.

Electricity and water. Energy can not be made and can not be destroyed so I think electricity would be the answer, since we'd never run out of it.

But on the oil rigs they're always going back to places they've drilled and are able to drill deeper with new technologies.

We might not run out of oil in 10 years, if we do then we will find others resources.
