i have an HD PVr 2 for a while now and this is the first time this has happened. Everytime i go to record i get this. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
It lets me edit my videos and stuff but wont let me record. Somebody please help me solve this problem. [ I ALSO HAVE NO PROGRAMS RUNNING THAT HAVE TO DO WITH IT ]

One of the cables must of come loose. Unplug everything and plug it all in again firmly.

If that still doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall the drivers. If that still doesn't fix it call up Hauppauge and they will guide you through some troubleshooting.

Or just download Hauppage capture from their website, Arcsoft is crap.

DON'T WORRY this happened all the time with mine (Before I threw it out the window because I didn't get any clips) I just restarted my Xbox or whatever your using and I closed my ArcSoft ShowBiz as well as turning the HD PVR off by the button. When I restarted it all it all worked fine, This can also be due to you clicking the capture button before it is ready to start.

It can be something to do with the softwarre not supporting HD PVR 2's.
