[b]I need help as my brother has accepted the recent release of the beta dash for xbox live/xbox one, he has accepted it on my retail side of my nand and therefor my retail is at dash 2.0.16531.0 . i am trying to get my jtag online (don't ask me why) but it is on dash 2.0.16203.0 (which is the latest dash besides beta) and when i try to connect it always says update required or whatever and it wants me to do an xbox live update. i've heard you cant update like that through the jtag as it can brick it so what i am asking is, how do i get rid of this beta dash altogether and play my jtag online, or is there a way i can update my jtag so that it is on dash 2.0.1653.0??

Even if you were to get your JTAG on the new beta dash their are no servers out their that support it so you still wouldn't be able to get online. Are you sure it is not just the Kinect and Avatar update? Because the retail side being on the beta dashboard should have nothing to do with the JTAG side. It is impossible to get rid of the beta dash on your retail side but as I said before it has nothing to do with the JTAG side.

well since the beta dash was accepted, for some reason, well what i think is happening is that;
Retail fully updated = Online - Dash 2.0.16531.0
^^^^^^
When i turn my jtag on,it says that i need to update as i have liveblock disabled (so it is trying to connect to live obviously)

The reason xbox live keeps telling me to update on my jtag is because this beta shit has some how infected my xbox so whenever a new release of this beta is out it notifies me of this update and says i cannot go online.

So my jtag being on the same xbox (dual nand) as my retail, Microsoft obviously takes it as if my jtag and retail are the same xbox, microsoft know that i have acceoted this infection and now are notifying me of it everytime i go on xbl on my jtag. sorry for the long reply that probably makes no sense lol
Retail - Dash - 2.0.16531.0 = Online
Jtag - Dash - 2.0.16203.0 = Update needed to go online
Do the avatar update on 16203 for my jtag - = upate needed to go online + when i reconnect my retail it says i need to update again , even know it says it is on dash 16531

hes right normally when you update the jtag side nand to a newer dash it doesnt get the avatar update so if you try connect to xbl on a jtag/rgh you will get the avatar update instead BUT this only works if your jtags nand is on the newest dash.

Does your retail side have the same keys as the glitched/jtagged side? Beta updates go out by keys so if you are using the same keyvault on both sides then you're going to get the beta update on the glitched/jtag kernel.
Off topic - Creating 3 topics on the same question will not get you any better responses, it just opens up the possibility of a suspension for you.

You cannot get rid of updates, wish you could, that would let us get prenxe and jtag.
