Okay so I took my jtag apart to put thermal paste on it because it keeps overheating. What I came to find is that it didn't have x-clamps so i'm kinda confused to as to where I put the thermal paste. Someone that will be able to help will be much appreciated!
Heres a pic of the motherboard. BTW it's a xenon if that helps.

That's the infamous RRoD fix. All you have to do is unscrew the screws. Make sure you don't lose the little washers!

Are you sure I just take the screws off? Where do I put the thermal paste and what are those little things stuck to the motherboard?

remove the bolts and washers on bottom of the board. be carful not to scratch the traces on the motherboard . once removed flip it over to the front remove both heatsinks. clean with alcohol the chips removing all old termal paste again careful not to damage the chips. they should be shining like a mirror when done. now put a small drop of termal paste on the shining part of the chips. drop size no bigger then a matchhead spread it out just on the shining part of the chips even coat. then clean the heatsinks shining as well. now replace them on the motherboard. becareful when tighting them. finger tight to start out with . if you get rrod with secondary error 0020 then your bolts are to tight. and your done.
hope this helps you bro!

Yes, I did this fix for my Xbox. You put the thermal paste on the shiny part of the CPU and GPU and those are to keep the RAM chips cool if I'm not mistaken.

Close the bigger heatsink is the cpu and the smaller heatsink is the gpu, here is 99.9% of all rrod's the gpu. the ram chips are the 4 little chips around the gpu black 1's and on bottom with some boards. this will fix it most times but as you said its already had the xclamp fix soo? could need a reflow or even reball of the gpu. could send it to me but if you don't trust me as I am a stranger so to speak I understand but I offer it to you neway.
good luck bro!

If you're asking me for a reflow or a reball, thanks, but I don't need it as I have a Jasper. I just did the RRoD fix for the lulz.

What you have to do is take the hole mother board out and then undo the x clamp on the bottom take the gpu off and then the thing that is underneath it should have old paste on it take the old paste off and put the new paste on it only a small ammount then spread it over it
