Buxtyy wrote Mine was a little toasty from being on load all day

My CPU has never seen 27c! Usually runs between 40-60c on games(only BF3 gets 60ish)

I don't mean Haswell hot, but hotter than 40 when overclocked! And yes, how much did it cost?

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Thats what you'd pay for it now.

It really depends on the weather, we get some mad heat here some days so if its boiling then it will break 40 or sometimes 50. Usually though it'll be around 38.

I plan on doing some serious stuff to my PC soon. Will be very nice when done, probably around January (so long...).

And I know how hard it must be, to have an overclocked 8-core 125W CPU running at 38...

Yeah i find its better to get something you want then upgrade along the line like i did.

With careful overclocking you can really keep temps down on AMD processors. I spent a lot of time making sure i had stability and good cooling. In any case its not like i use high end cooling at all.

That was a sarcastic voice. I'm jelly because I don't overclock.
