Haven't we all been thinking "Why cant we have more than 8 people?" well here's why and.. maybe we could.
The "Minecraft xbox360 edition" muliplayer is ran off of the xbox live servers this means it can only allow a certain amount of people to the map and you may be thinking "but COD's have a load of people" ect ect, true however running through these minecraft servers are placing, building and all the other stuff, the game is constantly changing with an open-world map and the more people, the more it will lag.
4JStudios have been talking with Microsoft about having there own server just for the Minecraft xbox360 edition, this will be more costly for them but will allow us to have more players from 1-10-20-30, to however Microsoft are willing to pay for a good server.
