With Apple Microsoft and Google dominating the market of most of the computer and mobile operating systems most people use, many people willingly spend their hard earned money for a product from one or both of these companies. Most of devices from these companies use things from the same company, Intel which may be a different branch of a secret company. They could also work with Nintendo and Sony dominate the world of console gaming (xbox, play station, wii, Nintendo DS...]

With these main companies dominating the world of electronics, one day they could just take down everything causing mass chaos and mobs of gamers stepping out into the sunlight If the power of all these companies were combined, they could make most devices useless and then we would have to live life like we did back before television was invented. A new generation would be born without most of the technological privileges we have today. This might be advantageous in a way, and make kids think and be creative instead of spending their time shooting zombies and launching birds at pig houses .-. It could start a generation much like the one that first sent a man on the moon with less computing power than what is in your average smartphone today, the generation who came up with great medical advancements to treat medical diseases and illnesses, and who helped increase life expectancy by 30 years.
