Hey guys, I've been thinking of starting PC gaming and I'm not really for sure what to get to make it.

So far I've looked into the Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 graphics card. [Open to any other cards]
I've already determined that I'll have 8 GB of RAM.
I have no Idea of what CPU to get.
Also need help with a Mother board
Looking for a Case also not really a big deal if has like glass panels or not.
Budget is around 600-800$ US Currency
With Windows 8 would be nice but windows if it is 7 it's fine
I'm also planning on playing like BF3 and BF4 so I'm just trying to make a computer that'd play those games on pretty decent graphics. Any help would be amazing.

not entirely sure why you went for a 850W PSU but hey.

OP: This will play games perfectly, the 760 is a very strong card.

Since you have picked a graphics card that is not compatible with any of the AMD APU's, I think the best choice for your build would be an Intel core i3 or i5, whichever you can afford (i5 will give you better performance)but i3 is also still a good choice. Also if you get an intel CPU be 100% SURE that the socket type is LGA 1155. And with that the motherboard will depend on what kind of case you get(To get the right size motherboard). The most popular size that i see built all the time now days is a Mini-ITX. They look amazing and they are really fun to build but you can still build something bigger if you wish.

I will give you one case per size of build so you can decide what size you want to build

Mini-ITX (Very small and most common) [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Micro-ATX: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Mid Tower case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Full ATX: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Once you find the case you want be sure to pay attention the the motherboard size and purchase your case accordingly. Example: If you get a Mini-ITX case, be SURE you get a Mini ITX motherboard. If you get a Mini ITX case and a Micro ATX motherboard, it will not fit. Also, i should mention you can get a full size case and a micro atx motherboard but it will be really small and awkward to put in the case

One last thing to mention is a copy of Windows 7 or Windows 8 will run you about $90 to $100. Windows 8 is new and more updated, but Windows 7 has been around for a bit and has been perfected. (Windows 7 is always my choice when building a PC for someone).

I picked it because in ANY build of mine I would always want at least an 850w, just in case I need it for the future:)

In my own build I have an 850w and am considering an 1000 instead:)

I can't think of any reason why you would ever need 850 Watts, you can run the top i7 with a GTX Titan off a good 600 to 700.

The max he will need 550 to 600 for his budget.

I do agree but I just feel like overkill is better than underkill. As specially since I overclock as much as possible and I like room for upgrades.
