Also, rumors have it that some countries have a huge stash of oil hidden purely so that when we 'run out', they can sell it for incredibly high prices.

Defiantly riots. They had a riot over that Treyvon thing.

But they are researching new things to substitute for oil. Like water or fake gas.

Oil will last another 50+ plus years according to my dad who has a good job on the oil rig so im not very worried lol

I honestly think if we ran out of fuel sources like that, the world would be a lot more peaceful, place. People would actually have to start doing something with their lives instead of inside playing Xbox all day or watching Tv.

I think there will be a war for the last reserves, And eventually alternative fuel but world war first.

I happen to think that once time goes on we will advance greatly and there won't be a need for a war over it.

Honestly, in the future me might not need Oil!
but if the oil source runs out, there will be riots but every thing \, including cars will just result in batteries

we have electric cars now and doesn't cost oil to run them
so my answer: Riots, but issue will be solved in batteries or electric cars etc...
