So I am going to get a Mac desktop located [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and I was looking for some feedback based on how this computer will perform. Please do not comment saying "PC is better..." because I have always been a Mac user and that wont change anytime soon. I will not be gaming on this computer; it will be just for general internet browsing and occasional use of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. Therefore I would like to bring up my question again: Based on what programs I will be running and that I have fast internet connection how will this computer perform?

For internet, it's fine. Same with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. It is really overpriced though, I really recommend going to PC. You could buy a PC that works better than this mac for $500 - $600.

For internet and Adobe programs you cannot really beat an iMac.
I would have one, but i never use them programs.
If it's what you want, go for it.

It'll run Photoshop and After Effects without problem, but so would a PC for half the price. If you've got that kind of money to spend on an Apple product then it's your decision.

Should I upgrade to 16GB of RAM and if anybody knows how much FPS would I run on if I were playing Minecraft with the default 8GB of RAM?

You would see next to no difference between 8 and 16GB.
I would get the 16GB if your planning to use Adobe programs all the time.

You would get enough FPS to play it. You'd get above 40 constantly.
