They still work bro. I'm always playing it online. Be careful using them on Chaos Mode and Survival. A lot of permanent bans have been issued recently.

I'm not really arsed about a ban on MW3 so its cool, have you got a ink to a video or anything? as all i can find is bs videos.. And also i thought you couldn't do it on survival?!

Yeah, but this is exactly why i want to mod it. It's old, Ghosts is out soon so i dont care about being banned. I just want a tutorial on how to mod survival with a friend if we had the same mods, eg. speed hack, unlimited ammo..

As far as I know they still work. I just used them a couple of weeks ago. As far as doing them with a friend, I use to do it. The only catch was that your friend has to have the exact same modded file that you have. What you do is both of you load the campaign and continue game, then save and quit and go to spec ops. It doesn't really matter who hosts it, I would go with whoever has the best connection. If you don't both have the exact same file then the game will run, but you will be out of sinc, like on your screen you'll be kicking ass and on your buddy's screen he's constantly picking you up. As far as where to get the file from, just search Youtube and try different ones. What I do is pick one that has everything you want, even if it has some mods you don't want, and then open the file with Horizon and either delete the ones you don't like or change the settings to what you are more comfortable with. All you have to do is look at the tab that has all the DVARs listed and you can pretty much tell which ones do what. They are in pretty plain English. Just remember to save a back-up before you make changes in case you make some and forget what they were before you changed them or the file gets corrupted or any number of other reasons things go wrong that leave you wishing you had made that back-up. Anyhow, have fun. I have been doing this since shortly after the game was released and have never been banned for it. That's not to say you won't, I may just have a horseshoe up my a**.
