Don't get me wrong, I love welcoming new members to the site, but all it is is " welcome to ttg, read the rules and stay active " and it's not just one, you get 20 comments of people just saying the same thing. Then they copy and paste it into the next post. I think this should. Be considered spam. Just posting the same thing to boost your post count.

I agree. I wish people would relate their welcome to the content of the post. For example, if the new member is good at graphic design, people could welcome them and give them direction or tips on using their skill on the site.

That is why on every post I put something different. Like for example, "Welcome to the site bro, it's great here. Just make sure to follow the rules so you can stay here as long as you like. Other than that enjoy yourself man! Hope to see you around

Oh and make sure to get a coffee guy.

:coffee: "

Something along the lines of that. I understand where you're coming from though.

If somehow I could put a quote with the coffee guy next to it, he'd be one of my signatures.

Well when I great a new TTG member I usual say the same thing: "Welcome to TTG hope you enjoy it here", I'm not sure about other people but that's how I do it.

Moderators take into consideration of copying and pasting, that's why you see a lot of people harass others on the comments in 'Introduce Yourself', saying, "Don't copy and paste!" etc.
I think certain posts (not topics), in places like 'Introduce Yourself' and 'Forum Games' shouldn't go towards your post count. Not that your post count matters (or atleast it shouldn't).
