How Much Will it Cost to Flash your Drive?:
I have been seeing a lot of posts asking "How much will it cost to flash my drive?" So I decided to type up a few options that might help you pick what you want. Here they are:
$70: Use x360usb Pro v2 (My personal choice): This method, which is the best option for doing it yourself, is by far the easiest. All you need is the x360usb Pro v2 and a molex adapter.
- x360usb pro v2
- Molex Adapter
$15: Send it to Me! : Look for my post in the MarketPlace Section!
Services:
-Flash to Latest LT+ Firmware
-Flash to Stock Firmware for DVD Drive Replacement
-DVD Key Extraction
(All Services come with the DVD Key, Dummy.bin, and a backup of the original firmware)
FREE: Use SATA from PC and Power from XBOX (NOT RECOMMENDED): This method contains a lot of work and a risk of being banned from Xbox Live. You must take apart your computer to get to the SATA ports (Must have [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ). Then you must power you dvd drive with the Xbox's motherboard, note that this will flag you for a ban on Xbox Live!
- Computer will SATA ports and Compatible Chipset
- An Xbox
