You're not a Gamestop employee. You wouldn't be here if you were. In this case, the gamestop employee clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. He doesn't work for Microsoft, so he cant tell customers what Microsoft's actual plans are without knowing for sure, whether their true or untrue.

last time i checked i was and have been for 2 years already. so just because im a gamestop employee i automatically dont play video games and dont belong in forums? im not here to fight or argue. im just saying not all gamestop employees are stupid. i admit my SGA and ASM dont play any video games at all and its sad. gamestop only hires people who can sell. they dont care if you're a gamer or not.

Technically Xbox CAN do this. They can do whenever they want when they want. You don't have to be a pimple faced gamestop employee to know. **** retards.

People at GameStop are dump. when I went there to pre-order battle field for the Xbox one they were telling me "oh Xbox one isn't as fast as the ps4"Blah blah blah... The workers at game stop are so biased.

I seriously doubt they would send an update through. What that seems to me is that they told the developers that all Xbox's will have a Kinect, which is why Microsoft has no plan to sell the Xbox One without a Kinect. If you get rid off your Kinect, you may have some future problems playing some games if the developers require the Kinect. Even major developers can add them now since they know everyone with an Xbox One should have a Kinect.

only microsoft has the answer to that question and i know someone that works at gamestop they send the employees emails on updates on the consoles news so the employee would know some of whats going on

There right about the fact that they can make it required but it would be the stupidest thing they would do, Everyone hated the fact that they had to have a kinncet which i don't know why but would't it make people sell there xbox's & not buy them anymore
