I took the PCB from my old drive and soldered it into the new drive.

Drives that can be flashed are:
1. Hitachi
2. Samsung
3. Benq
4. Lite-on (first ever flash)

I have 3 Xboxes all with Flashed modded liteon drives and yes you can Flash them with the correct tools.

Where are you from the stone age. Liteons are the most popular drive models, that is why ck3s usb pros and probes are created.

if that doesn't work then I am afraid you will need to solder back in the PCB that was there before and extract the dvd key from your old dvd drive and put it into the new one

Unfortunately that didn't work for me. I have absolutely no idea what is causing this.

Yeah you can flash a Lite-on it was the one where you needed the probe if I'm not mistaken...

But I know for sure I flashed a Lite-on when i was flashing peoples consoles!
