interesting. i went to visit my old site today and it took me here!

oh yes. now i see. a merger. sweet.

yeah, i built blue shadowz from the ground up. registered the domain for free from domainlagoon.com back in january of 08. started up a CMS with thetechgame.org [e107 i believe] and after maybe a week, went over to godaddy.com. my dad paid for my domain and hosting at that point, and i kept godaddy for a month or two. the site got bigger and godaddy was shit so i moved to bluehost.com. at the same time, i found a script to convert e107 to vbulletin. the transfer went smoothly and everything was great. a lot better control panel and the dedicated members paid for it for me! tons of donations, as well as people buying VIP access. got hacked a few times by competing sites, had 11 gigs of downloads stolen and deleted. ahhh. good times. i believe i purchased IPB at that point. not sure if i moved to a dedicated server first or started it up on my bluehost account, but it ended up with blue shadowz and IPB on the new dedicated server that my members completely paid for. at that point, blue shadowz was at its peak. people were paying me $6 to join, wonderful staff, great community.

sold the site to my good pal AngryKoconut. made some improvements and gave it to slipstream, who upgraded it to IPB 3.0. had to get a new theme and shit. the site has been through so much...

...and now it's here. so insignificant among a community of 130k+. download section? gamesaving forum? maybe the merge hasn't been completed.

I was just one of the many member at BS but I joined when you only got online around 12 and you didn't really talk much so we never really talked haha. Anyways Yeh.

just goes to show how long it's been. i forget who's who. i definitely remember a jesus. just don't remember who they were to me. i miss the old days.

yay merge. so hopefully we'll see that extensive downloads section up sometime.

Its great to see the merge has gone through smoothly.
Im curious, will all of the BlueShadowz downloads go into the gold forums or just the regualar ?
