The reason I want an Elgato and not a PVR is because the Elgato comes with the wires you need (2) and pvr comes with none so you have to spend even MORE money on the thing...

I think the best part about it is the 2 wire thing. One connects to your console, the other to you PC/labtop. Its awesome because those wires come with it!

I never had to spend more money? I got everything with my Hauppauge.

I just think the Elgato is simply a better capturing device for what you pay for.

If you have the program up. And you're not recording, you can go back to where you wanted to film and record it.
