Onesie wrote Okay, Manchester City, have spent money, and the last season we did, we won the league.

And if you look, whatever team has spent the most money on transfers win the league, when Man Utd used to buy players after players they won the league, only now as they are in debt the don't buy anyone.

Man City, are the ONLY club to beat Utd 6-1, remember that Utd fans, at their own ground, which proves we're far better than you at the moment, i will openly admit that you were far better than us like 5 years ago, but now we are. So, i don't like to see people pointing fingers, saying we ruin the league when we buy players just like anyone else did.

I'm sorry, who won the league last year?
who spends over 200 mil in 2 years on the best players and can't develop youth because they're clueless? oh yeah man city.

Our youth is bad, we have made exellent players over the past seasons such as Owen Hargreaves, Jack Rodwell, Shaun Wright-Philips, Richard Dunne etc.

you're being sarcastic, right?

I give up this topic was meant to be one person asking for a good team to support but then people came on slagging other teams which they don't even know a thing about. Keep it to another topic because this is getting out of hand. If you don't have something good to say then don't say it, I was just sticking up for my club showing some respect, but seems that some people just don't get it.

Oh no we can't develop youth, not that we're building a Multi-Billion pound complex based all around youths ? No, and that we're successful in our youth team ?

Just because you're building something doesn't mean you're going to succeed in it. Anyway it'll be around 5-10 years before players are actually being developed properly so you'll just have to keep spending millions on players who have already been developed.

Umm... Wigan beat man city. So by that Logic Wigan > Man city.
And our owners, The glazer family are in debt. Your owners hand out money like there's no tomorrow so you can buy anyone.. we could buy messi if we wanted, but we don't, because we are not silly spenders.. we make loads of gate funds because of the amount of fans and shirts which is how we get our money; earned not given..

We buy players with the money we generate, not that is given to us by arab owners..
And a year or 2, all clubs can only buy players with money they GENERATE. So city are screwed, but it won't affect united.

We buy players obviously, but we don't spend silly amounts on silly players

Example. You signed some kid called Fernandinho for 30 mil... 30 MILLION haha that's just silly silly spending. We buy RVP for 23-24mil

Wins us the title.. that's smart spending

Good game.

Hands down Bayern Munich.

The sad thing is that I've been a fan of their's for a while, but people instantly assume I only like them because of their season this past year.

Yeah, I agree.

Forget the amount of money you spent on the likes of Ferdinand, Anderson, De Gea, Kagawa, RVP, Rooney, Nani, Carrick, Zaha, Jones etc. That's just players in your current squad that you spent on. After all the years of you having money and City not, now they're spending because they can, like United did all down the years.

City won the title in the best way I've ever seen, United will never, ever compete with that, either.

After all that, OT: I support Liverpool, who are a great team with great players but just so inconsistent. I'd say support a team like Swansea or Spurs, both class teams.
