Okay so today I am buying a console for my Lake we wont be playing online rarely but we still want it for at night to play on and so forth what would be a better choice?

If you are not playing online PS3 if you want to play Online Xbox 360.

To be honest, I would just wait it out until the xbox one or PS4 comes out.

You are going to regret buying the xbox 360 after a year.
