Ever see those symbols next to someone's name in a lobby?

I don't have a screen shot of one but heres how you can get one.

1.) Register on [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
2.) once your account is registered and made from the main page you want to go to "Profile"

3) from there go to halo game settings and a tab called name plates will be selected

INFO- Some have requirements
IE, played the beta, certain achievements, certain games played ect

Do you have to have the game to do this ?
i haven't got the game but getting it tonight or some time in the next 2 days.

I don't think so, once you have your tag registered it stays on there while your playing reach.

Mind you its an in game/in lobby thing, not on your actual gamertag

Yeah ok, Im doing it all now and then when i get the game i will see if it works, even though i have no idea what this Symbol looks like

It doesn't work unless you have the game.
this is what mine comes up with, look underneath the gamertag.

some of them do have requirements, but I have never played halo 2 and it worked for me
