If you upgrade the ram to 8gb
The graphics to a GTX660
The hardrive to a 1tb
Then choose an operating system.]

Total - 607 (Which isnt too bad for a prebuilt)

STILL RECOMMEND BUILDING YOUR OWN!

You clearly dont know nothing. There is different models of Nvidia cards it might be the worst possible one? you cant just say nvidias good its like someone linking me and intel celeron proccesor asking me wether it can run most games and me turning around saying 'yes intel are good'. Not hating.

Yeah man, amd and nVidia are both good it depends on your budget there are ranges of cards it could be the first model of the nVidia series(outdated) yeah nVidia are good, I only reccomend gtx 660s or up for gaming builds though

2GB Ram? Needs to be 8GB minimum. I had a 4GB and it sucked, it was only 3.something usable of course, because I had 32 bit and it was awful for gaming! It's why I bought the beauty I have now, my preference would be better graphics too, 1TB HDD is good, that's what I have atm and it's so much better than the 400GB I had before. But, for that price it's horrible! There's a lot of alread-built ones you can buy, but the fans are usually not that good, and it will most likely need a better cooling system

Before christmas, because my parents were pitching in together on buying me a new laptop I was going everywhere looking for the best one for under 600. I found an all-in-one for 600, which had 1TB HDD, Overclockable i7 Processor, 12 GB Ram (4 GB + 8 GB,) 2 graphics cards with dedicated graphics which included a 3D compatible monitor. But, obviously if there's one problem with any of the parts, the whole PC is rendered unusable. Look around from great deals, because that was at half price for 1 week, I wanted it so bad, but my parents bought me a laptop because they wanted me to use it for studying and my creative media course a lot more than gaming.

Building it would ensure you could play steam games for years to come.
